I tried the free version of press-release-wire.com to test out their service. For a free tier, it works as a basic starting point, but it comes with heavy limitations. The free submission only allows plain text news releases—you cannot insert any images, videos, or dofollow links. Because of this, the exposure and organic traffic were very low. According to their website, you have to upgrade to a paid plan to unlock dofollow links and rich media embedding. It is okay if you just need a no-cost, text-only placeholder, but for real SEO results, you will definitely need to pay.
