" Smacks of bait and switch" Neil Diboll, President Prairie Nursery
Prairie Nursery advertised a fall sale that I took part in. They advertised showing pictures of full, lush green plants. What I received was a tray of either half dormant or half dead plants. I complained but was brushed off quickly as not knowing what I was talking about by both the customer service and the company president. I was assured these plants were completely healthy and would be just fine, but I already have dead plants only 8 days later. They said I complained about "cosmetic imperfections" but of course they are completely misrepresenting what I said when I complained. The company president even admitted " I can completely understand your feelings regarding what appears to be a misrepresentation of the plants’ quality. Smacks of bait and switch, and no one likes that." and " Yeah, they look like a bunch of dead sticks" Good luck if you choose to deal with these people.
