Learning how to embed a OpenSource tool into your CI/CD pipeline was fun and challenging. I can sense that the instructors took every possible steps to make the course, labs interesting and covered the most important parts of a the OpenSource tooling and explained the rational behind the selection in a very clear and concise manner. In the lab, they explained everything step-by-step which made me comfortable with the tools as most of the tools are security related and new (at least for me). Finally the exam, Its really a memorable experience as I never took a 12hr exam prior to this. I prepared for 2 weeks post the course completion and appeared for the exam. The tips and additional information that instructors provided during the labs are the game changers. The exam was fun and challenging. I would like practical devsecops team to consider the below - To see a recorded demonstration of the tools by the instructor before we take up the labs. - A optional purchase option during the initial course purchase of 45 days labs instead of the 30 days labs. - Mock exam with different set of exercises. - Option to schedule exam on Friday night.

First of all, I think this course was very interesting and meaningful. The support and guidance of the staff during the learning time is very unique and definitely sets the course apart from others. The reason that I selected 4 stars out of 5 is because I think there is always room for improvement. In the bottom line, if someone will ask me, I will definitely recommend this course.

Well, as for the tasks in labs, they’re useful and interesting. Description of different services and explanations of installation tutorials are informative. However, there are some exercises, which don’t have solutions. I think, such types of exercise must be marked, because student can spend a lot of time to find information how to solve it. Generally, I think that course was really useful for me and I improved my DevSecOps knowledges. Thanks staff for wonderful work.

DevSecOps course is a genuine hard experience (especially the exam) but brings across a lot of knowledge and forces you to actively exercise a lot on the topic of application security. Recommended!

DevSecOps and almost all talks refer to how security should be embedded into every stage of the DevOps pipeline and building Secure SDLC, I gained valuable practical experience to implement security at every stage. These practical exercises included security assessment at the build, test, delivery, deployment stage involving Secret scanning, SCA, SAST, DAST, Compliance as Code, system hardening using Ansible, vulnerability management to eventually give a single pane of glass to the organization. The course content that I took was very well structured, easy to understand and get you ready to go out and do real-world tasks. so KUDOS to the Practical DevSecOps efforts in that.

Well great experience, well course planned learnt so many new things in this course really up my skills. Its just amazing.

Material content is useful. Labs are practical to reflect the real situation. The staff are really helpful. Apart from some hiccups during the exam, I was taken cared of by the staff with immediate support.
