My doctor recommended only two things for support for my fallen right arch ... either a custom orthotic, or Powerstep. I now have Powerstep Max for nearly all of my shoes, and they keep me walking my dog, shopping, walking on the beach, etc.

The pinnacle maxx has an extra brace that help keep my heel from collapsing to the inside. Only arch supports I have found that does this.

Powerstep's orthotics totally eased my plantar fasciitis and I've been using them in my running and tennis shoes for four years.

These are every bit as good as the custom ones that are 5 times more money

I was introduced to Powerstep orthotic inserts about 6 years ago by Gazelle Sports when I went looking for new, more supportive running shoes. I had been experiencing lingering knee pain that didn't go away, even after taking days off to rest between runs. After adding the Powerstep inserts to my running shoes, the pain disappeared and now I wear the inserts in all my everyday shoes too. I like the 3/4 inserts for my winter boots, since there wasn't an insole in them to remove (had to put the Powerstep right on top of what was in there) and it allows for more room for my toes. I'd recommend giving these a go to anyone who is in the market for expensive, custom orthotics. I prefer the Powersteps over my custom orthotics (over $500 to have them molded, made and fitted).

We have been using Powersteps in our busy Podiatry practice, Beaver Valley Foot Clinic for over 20 years and by far have been our most popular brand.
