I really liked the class format — it was easy to follow and very interactive. Bernie is a great instructor who truly wants his students to understand the concepts and succeed. He explains things clearly, gives practical examples, and keeps everyone engaged throughout the session.

best instructor I have ever seen

Bernie’s teaching style was engaging and informative.

Bernie was a great instructor. He gave real world examples/experiences. I like that he did not just teach the test.

Excellent instructor and course

Bernie's experience and innovative teaching style made for an engaging course! You learn scrum without even realizing it - next thing you know your applying agile methodologies to areas outside of your professional environment.

I recently completed a Certified ScrumMaster® prerequisite course led by Bernie Maloney through Powered By Teams, and it was a truly exceptional experience. Bernie’s facilitation style is dynamic, engaging, insightful, and deeply human-centered. He brings a wealth of real-world experience and delivers the material in a way that’s both accessible and inspiring. The course was thoughtfully structured, blending interactive exercises with practical applications that made the Scrum framework come alive. Bernie’s ability to foster a collaborative and safe learning environment helped me and my peers feel confident in applying Agile principles in our own work contexts. What stood out most was how well-prepared I felt after the course. I took the ScrumAlliance® exam shortly after the course concluded and passed on my first attempt—with a 98%! That’s a testament to the clarity, depth, and effectiveness of Bernie’s instruction. Powered By Teams was also incredibly professional and organized throughout the process. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this course to anyone pursuing Scrum certification or looking to deepen their Agile knowledge. Looking forward to working with you again in the future on Product Owner skills. Thank you, Bernie and Powered By Teams, for an outstanding learning journey!

I appreciated the well-run interactive class on Scrum and the Product Owner role, while using Scrum to teach Scrum. Beyond learning the details of Scrum processes/artifacts, I especially valued the stories and insights you shared that exemplified the mindset of an effective Product Owner. I look forward to implementing what I’ve learned into my business endeavors and life.
