Hi Paula. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are sorry to hear that your Plexaderm didn't work as you had hoped. From what you described, it sounds like you may have applied too much. We recommend using a half-pea sized amount which can be shared between both under-eye areas. As for makeup, you can use makeup with Plexaderm. Eyeshadows, eyeliner, mascara, and blush are all good products to use with Plexaderm. If you use liquid foundation be sure that it is oil-free as many of the oils in makeup will lessen the effects. Some water-based foundations can be lightly applied over Plexaderm. Important Points to Make Sure Plexaderm Works for You! *Prime the bottle – It usually takes about 10-15 firm pumps until product begins to flow. For first-time use, remove cap and gently press the pump approximately 10-15 times to prime. Plexaderm will begin to dispense after the pump has been fully primed. • Place the bottle on a flat, level surface and remove the cap • Using your thumb, slowly and firmly push the pump down until it cannot go any further. • Continue pushing down the pump until product begins to flow, typically about 10-15 pumps; however, it could take longer so be patient • Once the desired amount of product has been dispensed, replace the cap for safe storage If you do not have luck with the above priming steps, try our advanced priming tips! • Hold the bottle with one hand, using the palm of your other hand, ensuring that your hand is completely covering the hole where the product dispenses from, quickly and firmly press the pump all the way down and release in increments of 5. o This will build up the air pressure needed to dispense the Plexaderm • Check after each set of 5 pumps for product coloration at the tip. When you begin to see this, that means product will begin to dispense within the next few pumps.
