Simply unacceptable. I ordered dog food in March 2012. The 15lb bag that I received has a best if used before date of 8 Dec. 2011.

I'm about to go postal on Petflow.com. I've been emailing back and forth since August 30 with them. I paid $76.66 for dog food and have not received anything. Let me recap what has been going on with this order: 1) Somehow an order went through although they didn't have an updated credit card. I was told the order "rolled through" whatever that means. 2) The order that was charged to my account, without my permission, went to the wrong address, as I have recently moved. 3) I complained that an order went through without your having my updated bank information and was told "well we sent you an email, you should have known an order was going to go through" to which I responded "I didn't see the email, I was on vacation." 4) I was then told that the order was en route to my old address, but as soon as possible the order would be rerouted to my new address. 5) The food was delivered to my old address. 6) I was told that a new order would be shipped out to my new address immediately, as soon as I update my credit card info. 7) I updated my credit card info, under duress, in hopes that I'd finally get what I'd paid for. 8) Now I'm being told I have to reorder.. I'm so disgusted.

I ordered a groupon and figured I would buy my dog a furminator. They did not have the furminator in stock but still charged me shipping. I was then told to place another order and they would manually fix it before my card was charged. I've now been charged for my purchase and shipping AGAIN. After playing email tag for OVER A WEEK, they now have no idea what groupon I bought. WILL NEVER BUY A GROUPON AGAIN THANKS TO PETFLOW.

Upon using Petflow for only the second month, somehow I unknowingly altered a ship date for a product already being prepared for shipment. So, in turn was sent 2 of the same product. Being that this part of their site is obviously a tad confusing, and after receiving 2 of the same item (30 lb bags of dog food) I immediately called wondering what happened since my profile only shows I ordered one. I was told there was nothing they could do for me since their system showed it was requested. They were of course willing to accept any unopened items, but this meant me having to pay the shipping expense out of my own pocket, which were more than likely cost roughly half or more of what the food cost me. I explained this was just a mistake that I wasn't even aware was made, and that this being a new food for my dogs- wasn't even sure they would like- or would like them. I certainly didn't intend to purchase 60 lbs of something that may go to waste. The representative reiterated that there was nothing they could do for me. I even asked if they could do a one time override and pay the shipping to return, they didn't want to help a customer at all. And, having a giant dog and 2 voracious puppies, I could have been a loyal customer. I will have to give them a one star for lack of service. This is what makes or breaks a company, no matter what they sell OR their prices.

My order took 2 weeks to arrive and then the purchase had to be returned. I was unable to get information on how to process the return until after the weekend because the customer service helpline was not open after normal business hours. Then I had to pay an excessive shipping charge to return the order. I will just buy from my vet from now on.

The Orijen bag for dog and cat food looks almost identical. We've been feeding my dog cat food for one week and just discovered that it was wrong.

I was excited to find out about this service and made my initial order. Product arrived quickly and I was satisfied, however when I enrolled I wasn't sure how far apart to space deliveries so I picked 6 weeks and then, because the site said I would get a pre-shipment notice and could adjust things, I figured I would change it as needed. 5 weeks later I get a "your order has shipped"...no pre-notice (though they say they sent one). So had to ship that order back. It was such a bad experience I asked to completely cancel the autorenew. I get home today and there is dog food on my doorstep. I search all my emails..there is not a one, not a prenotice, not a shipment notice. Just my email from Feb stating the service was to be cancelled. Clearly it wasn't. Do not use this company. They do not have it together.

I never know when the order is going to arrive and always have to buy a lesser brand at the grocery store so my dog has something to eat.
