I looked here to order our dog food for regular deliver, but the price is $15.00 more than our local specialty store. I get a few bucks more for the convenience, but $15.00? I don't find that reasonable at all, especially with shipping on top of that. We will be sticking with our local store, my 15 minute visit to the pet store isn't worth the extra $20.00.

My first shipment of Dog Food was dropped off at the neighbors a mile down the road, it was just dumped on there porch. The last shipment they did not even bring to the house, they told us to come to the Fed-Ex Facility to pick it up. Will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered cat food and litter, and the shipment was delayed several days as I ran out of supplies. PetFlow did not notify me of a problem, but when I tracked the package I found that it had been returned to the warehouse because the box was falling apart. I sent an angry e-mail, and PetFlow sent another package quickly. When that one arrived, the litter and food were boxed together, and grains of litter were all over the food cans. PetFlow should have taken greater care with the original packaging, or at least have notified me of the shipping delay so that I could prepare. But this is the second problem I've had with the company, and shipping delays like this (I had to go out to buy food and litter in the meantime) defeat the purpose of ordering online. I would like to be able to trust PetFlow for supplies because litter and canned food are hard for me to haul back from the store. This would be a great service if I could count on timely delivery.

I ordered an Acana Dry Dog Food here and was glad to see their low prices for both the items and shipping. I received my order and noticed that the food they have given me had been expired since last year. I called customer service and they agreed to send me another bag. The order was sent out the same day and until now I still have not received it. It has been more than a week since I had expected this delivery and it still has not come. I was expecting for it to come a few days ago and now I had to purchase a different bag of food because my order still has not arrived. They did not even try to compensate for my troubles so I do not know if I will be making more purchases from this site.

Searcing for certain food items could be much easier. Editing an order and changing it's shipment date is too much trouble to bother with.

Placed order for 6 line items with 3-week future ship date. Order shipped and arrived per schedule, but was missing one line item, not a mistake. Apparently item was not in stock at time of shipping so the order was modified to not include it. Period. After review, CC charge reflected proper amount after change, but there was no communication from vendor regarding the order being changed to eliminate one item, so we expected all items upon receipt. Had we been notified properly prior to shipment, we would have selected an alternate item. Now, we are short one item and it is not feasible to place order for single item. Customer Service could only provide 'I don't know why' answers as to why we never received any communication regarding them changing our order. Don't know if we can rely on future scheduled shipments to be allocated and filled properly without leaving us stranded for lack of items requested.

This was my introduction to PetFlow (attracted by internet promotion); however, of the four bags of organic dog food ordered, one had an expired pull date (June 2011), while another had been clearly opened (e.g. some product missing) and resealed, leading me to believe it had been returned/resold. Finally, while there was no communication explaining why one of the bags ordered was not included in my order, I finally received the remaining bag a week later. I am awaiting PetFlow's response to my issue to see whether to dispute the charge on my credit card and/or take further action. However, so far, it is not a company which merits repeat business or referral to others.

One item was out of stock so you sent me a credit on my card but presumably still shipped for free. Why not contact me and ask if I wanted to double up on the other item????
