WHY PARAGON EXISTSMost traders don't fail funded evaluations because they can't trade. They fail because the firm behind the account was never built to actually pay them.Paragon was built to close that gap — real capital, real execution, and a payout process that doesn't change once you're the one asking for the money.THE NATURAL EXTENSIONParagon didn't start as a prop firm. It started as a coaching operation, built around a simple idea that turned out to be provable: traders get better when someone actually reviews their trades, corrects the pattern, and holds them accountable to it week after week. That approach worked well enough that it created a new problem. You can train a trader to a genuinely professional level and still leave them with nowhere to use it — no capital, no real account, no path from "skilled" to "employed as a trader."Prop trading closed that gap. It gave traders who'd already been trained a real vehicle to build a career on top of the skill set, instead of a hobby they'd eventually outgrow. Paragon Funded Trader wasn't a pivot away from coaching. It was the next natural extension of it — the place the training was always meant to lead. That's still how it works today. The coaching didn't stop when the funded accounts started. It's why weekly live coaching and one-on-one performance reviews are built into every account from day one, not sold as an upgrade.THE STANDARDEvery account at Paragon runs on A-Book execution through PropAccount and FPFX Tech, the same verified infrastructure powering 150+ prop firms worldwide. That's a deliberate choice, not a default. A-Book means trades are routed for genuine execution, not managed against a dealing desk with an incentive to see traders lose. It costs more to run a firm this way. It's also the only way to run one a trader can actually verify.WHAT WE BUILTThe model stayed consistent from the first account size to the last: clear rules, published profit splits from 75/25 up to 90/10, and a payout process
