Hi Mario, 45 days without your order and no response to your emails is not the experience we want for anyone, and we’re extremely sorry. We’re a small team, and while working to catch up on backorders, we also fell behind on customer replies. You felt the impact of both, and we want to get this resolved for you as quickly as possible. We’ve since shipped all backorders, but if you still haven’t received your Smartbuds, please email [email protected] with your order number and “Trustpilot” in the subject line. I've asked the team to escalate these emails and we’ll confirm your refund status within 1 business day. — The NextSense Team

Hi Brian, thank you for the candid feedback. Fit and comfort while side sleeping can vary from person to person, and we’re sorry Smartbuds didn’t work for you. We’ve since dialed back advertising around side sleeping while we work toward our next generation, which will have a much slimmer design. When you asked for a refund, you should have received one without having to go through a round of suggestions and questions. That’s on us. We’ve shared your experience with our support team so the next customer has a better one. If anything with your return is still unresolved, please email [email protected] with “Trustpilot” in the subject line and we’ll close it out. — The NextSense Team

Hi Wendy, we’re sorry. Buds that keep dropping their connection are frustrating at any price, and having to send three emails just to get a return authorization made the experience worse. A return request should be handled the first time you ask. We’ve shared the details of your connection issue with our product and engineering team, and your support experience with our customer service team so we can keep improving both the product and the experience around it. If your refund still hasn’t fully come through, please email [email protected] with “Trustpilot” in the subject line and we’ll confirm where it stands. — The NextSense Team

Hi Pavel, you're right. You canceled before your order shipped, and you should have received your refund without being asked why. We're sorry for the delay and for the error in your support thread. That should never happen, and we've raised it with our support team directly. If you’re still having issues, please email [email protected] with your order number and "Trustpilot" in the subject line so we can confirm your refund is complete. — The NextSense Team

Hi Joshua, you’re right to be frustrated, and we’re sorry. Waiting weeks for your order and receiving updates that felt canned isn’t the experience we want anyone to have. We also want to clear up the confusion around recurring charges. Smartbuds do not require a subscription, but unlike regular earbuds, the tips and wings on Smartbuds are part of the sensor system. Their conductive coating makes contact with your ear to sense brain activity, and that coating naturally wears away with use, so fresh ones keep your signal reliable. Although we used to operate on a subscription model, we heard the feedback and changed the model early-on. Replacements are available whenever you need them, and we now offer bundle deals as well. — The NextSense Team

Hi Randy, we hear you. Our return policy gives you 30 days from delivery for a full refund, with return shipping covered, and asking for a refund should be enough to start one. We're sorry it didn't go that way, and that you were still waiting weeks after sending your Smartbuds back. We’re a small team working hard to ensure everyone gets the best experience possible and we sincerely apologize your experience was anything but! If you still haven’t received your refund, please reach out to [email protected]. Add your order number and "Trustpilot" to the subject line, and we'll track down your return and close it out. — The NextSense Team

Hi Norbert, a bud that stops working needs a real fix, not new tips, and we’re sorry this has dragged on. You reported the issue within your 30-day return window, so you should absolutely receive a refund. If this still hasn’t been resolved, please email [email protected] with your order number and “Trustpilot” in the subject line, and we’ll make sure it’s taken care of within the next business day. — The NextSense Team

Hi Amy, thank you for such a fair review after a frustrating experience. We've shared this with our customer service team and creating a better support experience is one of our top priorities.
