No clue on customer service and the prices seem a bit higher :(
I stopped shopping at the Port Moody Liquor store a while back because of substandard customer service. I figured I'd give them one more try today around 4 p.m to see if any improvements have occurred. The young fellow I had the misfortune of dealing with looked like he was absolutely miserable. He never looked up once during the transaction and the look on his face was closer to a scowl than a smile. I told him that he might want to actually look at his customers and smile. His response was "sorry, I'm just tired". I told him that I was too after working a 10 hour shift but I still have the ability to smile. The prices seem to have gone up as well. Poor customer service and what seems like higher prices mean I'll go to the BC Liquor store from now on. If I were the owner/manager I would be really embarrassed to have staff act that way. Good customer service isn't hard, you smile, greet your customer, be friendly and say have a nice day when you're done. If you aren't up to doing that little, get another job.
