My $6,000 experience with Naftali Moses. I cannot recommend his coaching.
I paid Naftali Moses $6,000 for a four-week, one-to-one coaching program, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I found Naftali through Instagram and scheduled a call while going through a difficult personal period. The sales process felt extremely high-pressure. I was encouraged to make an immediate decision and sign the contract during our call. I was promised four weekly private coaching sessions and direct messaging access 24 hours a day, six days a week. What I actually received was quite different. Our first session lasted about 45 minutes and felt rushed. The second session was offered as a 30-minute appointment. His responses to messages sometimes took several days, and I was never given access to the WhatsApp group referenced in our agreement. When I reviewed the contract more carefully, I discovered that clauses 7 and 9 actually stated that one-to-one coaching wasn’t included and required an upgrade. This was particularly concerning because individual coaching was exactly what I had paid $6,000 to receive. But what troubled me most was the coaching itself. During our interactions, Naftali called me a narcissist and made other harsh judgments about my personality and relationships. To my knowledge, he is not a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or mental health professional qualified to diagnose personality disorders. I found it deeply inappropriate for someone offering life coaching to make these kinds of judgments, particularly when working with people who may be emotionally vulnerable. When I questioned the services I was receiving, rather than addressing my concerns, he suggested that I stop watching the videos and just concentrate on texting and private sessions. He also interpreted my dissatisfaction as psychological resistance or an attempt to protect myself. I wasn’t looking for someone to diagnose me or tell me what was wrong with my personality. I was looking for professional life coaching, which I was willing to pay a substantial amount for. After one session, I canceled and requested a full refund because the program wasn’t what I had been sold. Instead of addressing the refund request in writing, he offered another call. I declined and subsequently disputed the charges with my credit card company. I genuinely wanted this experience to be worthwhile, but I came away feeling that the sales promises, contract, and actual coaching were three very different things. My advice is to be extremely cautious before spending this kind of money on his services. Ask for everything in writing, read the contract carefully, and don’t allow yourself to be pressured into making an immediate decision. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Naftali Moses as a life coach.
