Purchase Gardyn a few weeks back and have fully enjoyed watching our “babies” sprout. Appreciate the helpful information on care and set up. The set up is a little intimidating- specifically connecting the lights to the system- but once done it’s all good . Looking forward to enjoying the beauty and harvest!

My Gardyn itself has been an amazing experience. However I was disappointed that I had 8 of my initial plugs not sprout. I have ordered more since and have not had any problems since.

Had a few issues that eventually got fixed. But it took way too long to get help. Gardyn is growing well though.

The only reason I give four stars and not five is because I think 40$ a month for the membership is too much money for what one gets. Reduce cost or give a certain number of months free. The Gardyn itself is a 5star!

Took slightly longer than advertised to produce results, and some of my seeds never sprouted, however I was able to transplant the thinned out plants from their original cubes into the cubes that never sprouted and the transplants are doing well. Maintenance is very easy and the fertilizer that come with mixes easily, and the amount you receive is more than sufficient. The lights are bright enough that I use the light on my grow system as the only light I have on in my house, and it’s not added any extra to my power bill. Assembly *can* be done with one person, but is much smoother with two. I was able to assemble this with my two young kids in approximately 20 minutes. The kids enjoyed helping and placing the YCubes in the device.

I was expecting to get the soaker tray as advertised in the special and a few more caps as more of our seed pods did not sprout than expected. Thanks and looking forward to seeing how this goes and maybe purchasing another one in the near future! Brady Hanson

I got the 1.0 on sale at $500. I think at this price point the Gardyn is great - I already want another! I would not pay full price for another, but I would at the $500 range. The membership platform seems useless and overpriced. Kelby is okay, and I have had nothing but problems with my cameras. The fact you have to buy a membership to use the cameras, vacation mode, etc is terrible when the device is already so expensive. Overall, I think the Gardyn itself is awesome, and a lot of fun. But, the membership program and tech could still use some work - especially considering you have to pay each month for it! Make everything in the app included in the cost of the unit, and the membership should be for seeds/plant food/etc only. I think if you want a pretty hydroponic system, and don't need to rely on the app at the $500 sale price this is a good buy.

I love my Gardyn! I would like to have in app purchases available even without membership. After all, buying more stuff should be easy! Right? I have found the website a bit non user friendly. It’s hard to find what you want. Anyway, I’m having a ton of fun and eating lots of greens. I’m Excited for my tomatoes and cucumbers to show themselves.
