Frost Guard New guards, how they fit.
the new guard does protect the windshield, I purchased 2 different models. The extended for my 2012 GMC Silverado 1500. It does not hold in place as well as the model (not extended) I purchased 4 years ago, came with mirror covers, Also it still is not wide enough for the entire windshield for a pickup truck. The extended flaps lift under high winds unlike the one pc. the lower flap also lifts and since it is not split trying to put the wipers on top to hold it down just defeats the covering of the blades. The 10.00 dollar other one I got for my Grand daughters car has Velcro straps that you have to put around the wiper arm! Then after it snows, dig thru the snow/ice to unstrap!. Not very happy with these two. No comparison what I got 4 yrs. ago and still have and use on my other car.
