Muscle + Bone NYC is an online pain correction company founded in 2013 by Tony Laurent — NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and MBA Candidate at Babson College. We exist because the medical system is designed to manage pain. We correct it.Chronic pain has a source. When you find it and correct it — it goes away. That's not a philosophy. That's a methodology built on over a decade of working with hundreds of clients across the United States and internationally, from Seattle to Bermuda and everywhere in between. We specialize in correcting shoulder, hip, knee, back, neck, ankle and foot pain — entirely online, through personalized recorded sessions and live coaching designed specifically around each client's pain areas and goals. No surgery. No medication. No endless appointments. Just movement, done correctly. After a serious accident left founder Tony Laurent with a torn labrum, frozen shoulder, arthritis, bursitis, impingement and thoracic outlet syndrome, he spent years seeing over 20 practitioners. Nothing created lasting change. That experience became the foundation of everything Muscle + Bone NYC does — finding the source of pain that others miss, correcting it through targeted exercise, and restoring real, usable movement to people who refuse to slow down. Our clients are high-achieving professionals aged 45 and older — lawyers, physicians, executives, entrepreneurs — who hold themselves to a high standard and expect their bodies to do the same. They come to us after physical therapy, cortisone shots and rest have failed them. They stay because the results last.90% client retention rate. 12+ years in business. 1,500+ sessions delivered internationally.Pain is correctable. And you deserve to keep doing the things that make you feel most alive.

Tony is a master at Encouraging, He is knowledgeable, motivating, caring and always willing to transfer his knowledge to me and others in the class. The positive energy is contagious and the conversation among everyone is engaging. Most of all, my knee pain was noticeably less after attending class for a few week.

I put off booking with Tony at Muscle and Bone longer than I should have. Over 20+ years, one knee surgery, and two spine surgeries, I've worked with a lot of physical therapists and orthopedists. I expected more of the same: being told my pain wasn't what I said it was, and therapy that left me hurting worse than when I walked in. I was tired of the medical gaslighting. I was wrong. Tony is different. He works with me and my body as it is in the moment, not with assumptions about what someone with my history "typically" needs. He listens, adjusts, and builds each session around what's actually happening. That personalized approach has already reduced my pain. Just as important, it has restored my belief that things can keep improving over time. I wish I'd come sooner. If you've given up on PT because nothing has worked, give Tony a chance. Highly recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Excellent Program for Strength, Mobility & Independence** I highly recommend Tony’s fitness program for seniors who want to improve their strength, mobility, and independence. What really sets Tony apart is his personal attention. Through Zoom, he carefully demonstrates each exercise, watches your technique, and guides you at a pace that is both comfortable and challenging. The program uses resistance bands and body-weight exercises, making it easy to participate from home without expensive equipment. Tony also provides workout videos and a foam-rolling routine so you can continue working between sessions. Most importantly, Tony is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your progress. You don’t feel like you’re simply following an exercise video—you feel like you have a personal coach helping you become stronger and more confident. For seasoned adults who want to stay active, move better, and maintain their independence, **Tony’s program is an excellent investment in yourself.**

Consistent, attentive and thoughtful to individual needs. Tony is approachable and listens to your concerns --- he is also observant and good at noting issues you may not know you have.

The instruction is clear and results-oriented, with concern for each student in my group class. Also, the classes are designed to manage and relieve pain to help your body heal.

Muscle & Bone NYC's owner (Tony) is who I fully trust with my overall health awareness. Tony cares for all of his clients and he has the ability to make everyone push "safely" towards their fitness goals. Tony is always on time and ready to lead his training sessions. A person that is discipline but flexible when needed. He is a special person.
