This service went downhill over the years. We now use ahrefs entirely. They also have pretty vicious pricing where they charge your card for the year without notifying you (their emails go right to your spam probably because of their reputation).

I do not recommend using it Mozbar Unfortunately, now they collect Money and now paid this version. Now everything is Paid and you also have monthly limits on the MOZbar. Remove it as it as immediately

I would not sign up for the free trial if you are a small business. I was testing it out and didn’t realize I had to cancel since I signed up for a few other tools that DON’T automatically charge you. When I went back to customer service-I told them what happened and got the standard “too bad, it’s our policy, that’s how SaaS works. I explained I am a small woman owned business and have not even used the platform. Again, after escalation I got the same response. I think consumers have been trained by these companies to basically not expect any kind of customer service. It’s all “buyer beware”-no wonder people are so burnt out trying to keep up with admin that is so freaking bureaucratic. And before you say “that’s how it works” maybe stop and question why. I think this free trial to automatically pay is nothing more than a scam. Saas companies should have to force you to opt-in before charging you automatically after a free trial to make sure you intend to purchase. That seems more than reasonable to me.

Moz Local is a useless tool that does not perform the functions it advertises. Moz Pro is no longer the leader of the SEO and has been surpassed by Semrush, a far superior platform and strategy.

That said, a lot of users do find Moz Local helpful for managing local SEO and keeping their business listings consistent across the web. I resent that Moz has cut off all phone contact with its customers/prospects. The company is on autopilot and hides behind a wall of info on their website that is difficult for small business owners to comprehend. In my case, as soon as I renewed by plan on 4/20/24, my business tanked. No calls, no emails. This is highly unusual. Something is very wrong. But try to get help from Moz. It takes 2 days for them to respond by email, and even then, the email is full of incomprehensible jargon. THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR ME!!!!!! If you want a new profit center, Moz, then charge people for a problem-solving phone conversation with an SEO expert. I would gladly pay.

The link to cancel my free trial subscription is not functioning properly. I have also sent an email requesting Moz to cancel my subscription manually, but have not received a response. Meanwhile, they have been attempting to direct debit from the credit card account I provided them with every day, even though I have been unable to cancel my subscription due to the broken link and lack of response to my emails.

ALERT FRAUD This is a SCAM. Absolutely NOT a trusted site. 179 USD was taken off my account after I had canceled the account and I have had absolutely no access to the account. I have also tried to access my profile multiple times but have been unsuccessful as no account was found.

The company will not notify you when your free premium account trial is ending and will charge you without notice. When I noticed my business account had been charged, I reached out on the day to inform them I did not want the premium account and have yet to hear from customer service to reverse the charge.
