Avoid at all costs! I purchased my vehicle from them and later found it had faults such as a leaking boot, aircon wasn't working and faulty cigarette lighter. After many many failed attempts at trying to contact them I finally had my vehicle booked in with them to get this rectified, the only thing that was fixed was the cigarette lighter. I told them I couldnt afford to take my car back to them for any more repairs given they failed the first time and chose to get repairs completed myself. When I asked them to cover the repairs they carried on to ignore me, gave me horrendous attitude, I had to in the end threaten court proceedings of which they failed to even respond to the deadline but the court waived it! They lied to the mediator saying i was hard to contact and wouldn't cooperate when I have calls logs and messages to prove otherwise. They ended up paying me for my damages but I regret not getting my vehicle MOT tested before this. My MOT test failed on multiple aspects that deemed the vehicle unsafe to drive yet I had been driving it around thinking it was okay and safe to drive. Further repairs cost over 1k I had to pay out of my own pocket. Be wary of this company, they sell dodgy cars and go ghost on you.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Around three months ago, I part-exchanged my van with them. Unfortunately, the van they gave me has turned out to be in terrible condition, and I have already had to spend around £3,000 on repairs to get it fixed. To make matters worse, I have now started receiving letters from the DVLA regarding penalty notices and the tax on my old van. When I part-exchanged the van, Dominic took my V5C document, and it appears that the necessary ownership/keeper process was not completed properly. I am now having to deal with the consequences of this. I contacted Dominic to try to resolve the situation, but I found his attitude extremely rude and unhelpful. I expected much better customer service, especially after buying a vehicle and part-exchanging my own van with them. This has been a very stressful and expensive experience. I would not recommend buying or part-exchanging a vehicle with this company based on my experience. Please be very careful and check everything thoroughly before doing business with them

Wouldn’t recommend. Had an issue with the tyres from the start with the warning light being on, was told the “tyre light comes on for fun”. I inflated them as it showed low pressure, but light came back on. I went back to them to explain I think there was a puncture, but they disagreed, overinflated the tyres to 40psi and told me that should be fine. I went to a garage as I didn’t feel right about it, and they quickly told me all 4 tyres were in terrible condition, including multiple punctures, needed immediate replacement and should never have passed the recent MOT. After a lot of back and forth, Motor Buying Group agreed to send me the money to replace the tyres. However, 7 months on, I had an oil leak from multiple places and now it’s showing as engine damage. The garage believes the engine damage has been going on for some time so I think the car they sold me was unsafe from the start. Also found a distinct difference in their manner with me when I was buying the car vs when I’d bought the car and had a problem.

Not a pleasant experience. I'd avoid. View by appointment only means they won't answer your call if you need warranty work, they aren't a trading company on company house. Save yourself some hassles and look elsewhere.

Not sure about this company which trades cars in the UK and is trading out of 4500 Parkway Spaces Whiteley in Fareham PO15 7AZ because it is listed as dormant on Companies House Motor Buying Group Ltd but uses the company registered number on their website: 13161648 - Alarm bells are ringing.
