A journey that changed my relationship…

A journey that changed my relationship with the Qur’an I came to Mishkah Academy knowing very little, and I leave it able to read the Book of Allah. That sentence still amazes me to write. I started with Noor Al-Bayan, and the method proved its worth: it takes you from letters and their articulation points to reading with confidence, step by patient step. From there came Tajweed and Islamic Studies, always at a pace that respected where I actually was rather than where a syllabus said I should be. But what I will remember most is my teacher, Sheikh Ahmad. He taught with a patience that never once made me feel behind, corrected me without ever making me small, and gave the same care to a single letter as to an entire page. Over time he became more than a teacher to me — he became a friend. He did not simply teach me to recite; he attached my heart to what I was reciting. The classes were consistent, well organised, and easy to fit around a demanding schedule — which matters enormously when you travel or work long hours. The administration was responsive and respectful throughout. I owe this academy something I cannot repay: the basics I never had, and a bond with the Qur’an and with my religion that keeps growing. Jazakum Allahu khayran to Sheikh Ahmad and to the whole Mishkah team. If you are hesitating — whether you are starting from zero or returning after years away — begin. You will not regret it. Jazakallah Khairan Sheikh Ahmad and Mishkah Academy
