My infant son was prescribed a pink eye medication that burned his eye based on the 6 drops per day recommendation.

Most of the doctors do not have bedside manner and treat their patients as if their symptoms aren't real. The doctors are unknowledgeable when it comes down to certain topics that should be well known.

The video chat wasn't working so the doctor diagnosed my son with an ear infection without being able to look at him at all. I wasn't comfortable with this and most likely will not use MDLive for my children in the future. I can see the benefit for other illnesses for myself and my husband though.

The MDlive app is anything but convenient! It is so buggy there is no way it was tested properly. (I am a software developer and like to cut others slack, but this is unacceptable alpha test worthy trash.) Bugs: 1. When the app goes to sleep and you want to unlock it by PIN, it doesn't not recognize the PIN. I have reset my PIN and still does not work. 2. Photos will not upload from making appointment or from adding to medical records. It will not upload a previous picture or directly from camera. 3. Trying to add a family member does not work. Even though I have it checked that the ID is the same as Primary member (me) it will NOT acknowledge it. It still wants one entered. You cannot enter it because nowhere in the app does it list what is your primary ID. This app is horrible. I cannot believe such a buggy app was released to the public. I had to call in as me (son is one that needed to see doc), get charged, call support, have them enter my son's information, put in credit card information again, and wait for another call back from doctor. Then saw later on credit card statement they charged me twice! So I had to call back and have one of them reversed. You would think in this day you could use your smart phone front camera and mic to have a face-to-face conversation. Nope! To do that, it only works on a PC/laptop with a camera and mic. And being the picture upload does not work it only makes matters worse. (My son had pink eye and it would have been nice to show them the picture.) The whole experience took at least an hour (included trying to get app to work). Definitely not the experience I was expecting! The people I talked to were all friendly and were aware of the buggy app. I feel bad that they had to deal with all this instead of getting right to the issue you called about. I was pleased with the doctors. Not their fault the software is the worse experience known to mankind. Please fix the app!

I was consulting to get into birth control pills and ended up the doctor telling me thay he doesnt prescribe pills and i should just consider IUD. I specifically indicated Birth Control pills in the subject line of my initial Scheduling. If he isnt prescribing it then he should have not accepted my schedule. Instead he charged me for less than 2 min call.

First time using this service and was not impressed at all.. My 6 yr old had sore throat with white stuff on the back of his throat, fever and stomach ache. The Dr wanted us to get a picture of the back of his throat. Ever tried doing that with a 6 yr old? We called originally at 8:10am and at 11:45 we were still going back and forth trying to get help. Ended up taking him to Urgent Care so we will have the charge for using this service and the Urgent Care charge.

After giving my info to the intake person I was told I would be contacted within an hour by a physician. I received a call back in about 5 minutes which was very nice. I had already spoken to a nurse who was very helpful and informative. The reason I called MDLIVE was to get a prescription for muscle relaxants for a severe back spasm. Had I known that the doctor was not able to help me at all, I would not have agreed to pay $47 for basically nothing. It would have been nice if that would have been told to me up front.

Worst decision to call MDLive The doctor talked like a used car salesman, fast promised I didn't need to take notes as he would email me all the instructions. That was 7 days ago, nothing yet. Won't use them again
