I had Marty’s Mobile Mechanics come out…
I had Marty’s Mobile Mechanics come out to Clear Lake to diagnose an electrical problem on my 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3L Power Stroke. The truck had multiple electrical symptoms involving the accelerator pedal/idle validation circuit and instrument cluster, and it wasn’t a straightforward parts-replacement job. The technician performed advanced electrical troubleshooting, checked the circuits and connectors, traced the fault through the wiring, and isolated the problem instead of simply throwing parts at the truck. He was able to verify the issue and get the circuit functioning correctly. I really appreciated the thorough diagnostic work and attention to detail. Electrical problems on an older diesel can be difficult to track down, and Marty’s Mobile Mechanics took the time to diagnose it properly. I would recommend them to anyone in the Clear Lake, Texas area needing mobile automotive or diesel diagnostics.
