Very disappointing experience with Logic Utilities – expensive, non-transparent and extremely difficult to deal with.
As a property owner, I have repeatedly asked Logic Utilities to provide the **contractual basis for billing me directly**. I have never signed a contract with Logic Utilities or personally accepted their tariffs, fees, or terms. Instead, they refer to an agreement with the developer while refusing to provide the relevant agreement because they consider it confidential. I also strongly dispute the meter readings and consumption data used for my invoices. Consumption was recorded during a period when nobody was living in the apartment, yet the reported consumption was surprisingly high. Despite repeatedly challenging these figures, I have not received sufficient underlying evidence that would allow me to independently verify the readings, their timestamps, or their correct allocation to my unit. Instead, I receive tables and explanations prepared by Logic itself. Some figures are presented as measured readings, while others involve calculations, but I have not been provided with sufficient supporting evidence for the measurements or a transparent basis for the calculations. If disputed meter readings are used as the basis for demanding payment, the customer should be provided with **verifiable supporting records**, rather than simply being told that the readings are correct. The additional charges are another major issue. Logic charges **AED 31.50 separately for electricity and another AED 31.50 for water every month**, effectively AED 63 per month in administration/billing fees for a single apartment. These fees can even be charged when there is **no consumption at all**. On top of that, I consider the utility rates and overall costs very high. Communication and complaint handling have been extremely frustrating. Instead of resolving the fundamental questions concerning the **contractual basis, disputed meter data, tariffs, and additional fees**, I receive lengthy explanations without the supporting documentation I have repeatedly requested. If a company bills property owners directly, there should be complete transparency: **a clear contractual basis, transparent tariffs, verifiable meter records, and clearly justified fees.** Based on my experience, Logic Utilities is **expensive, non-transparent, and very difficult to deal with**. I am still waiting for proper documentary evidence supporting the disputed charges and, most importantly, for the **contractual basis establishing the legal and contractual relationship between Logic Utilities and me as the property owner**.
