Just had to delete my account as kept getting so many emails with a six digit number - as if someone was trying to access my account. Very worrying.

We understand why that was worrying. Those emails are typically verification codes sent when a Link account is being accessed or created, and if you need help with account removal or unwanted emails, please contact us here: https://support.link.com/contact/login?
Multiple attempts to complete a purchase resulted in. A "Card Expired" prompt. Clicking on my account from both the link provided the Citzen Ticket site and on the Link site didn't resolve their issue. The labourious process of contacting customer service via the chatbot, didn't resolve their problems. Useless. Also raises the issue of their ability to protect PPI!

We’re sorry for the frustration. Link is a saved payment and checkout product designed to speed up online payments, and expired card details can prevent a purchase from completing. Please update the card on file and try again, or contact us here for help with Link account or checkout issues: https://support.link.com/contact/login?

Link is designed to save payment details for faster checkout, but availability can vary by country and merchant. If you need help with a Link account or saved payment method, please visit https://support.link.com/contact/login?.
Sneaky weasel of a service semi-creating accounts that link your cards without permission. Financial attachments or services are a sensitive situation. This company goes beyond trying to make someone want their service.

Link is a saved payment and checkout product designed to speed up online payments by storing a user’s payment and contact details so future checkouts can be completed with fewer steps. Because the experience is designed to be seamless, some users may not realise an account was created during a quick payment flow. If you want help with a Link account or removal request, please visit https://support.link.com/contact/login?.
I apparently created an account by accident. I received an email shortly after making a purchase online that my credit card information had been saved with a link to manage my account. I went to the link and it wanted even more personal information to "continue setting up" my account. Not wanting to do this, I then sent a reply to the email, notifying them this was a mistake and that I do NOT want my cc information saved, to which I received an automated response that my email had not reached support staff, with a link to contact support on their webpage. So I click the link to contact support, claiming to be "24x7 support from out support staff" and it turns out to be a freaking AI bot. WTF?? So, I clicked a link to "delete" my account, to which I then received a confirmation email that my account had been deleted but it may take up to 120 days to remove my information. Again, WTF?? So I now I supposedly have no account to access to check if my information is actually deleted, which they may actually still be holding for the next FOUR MONTHS, and no way to reach a person to verify whether this information has actually been deleted or not. Horrible, horrible experience. I will be contacting the company I made a purchase with to let them know my experience and urge them to break ties with this company. If indeed they even have a consensual relationship at all?? I have no idea if they have an agreement with Link, or if it just popped up randomly. Absolutely awful company.

We’re sorry for the frustrating experience. It can be unsettling to receive an account email after checkout and then have trouble reaching a person for help. Link is designed to save payment and contact details for faster future checkout, and you can request help with account removal or data questions through https://support.link.com/contact/login?. If you already requested deletion, that request may take time to complete across our systems. We also recommend contacting the merchant you purchased from if you want to understand how Link appeared in that checkout flow. For any follow-up on your Link account, the support form is the best path.
What a garbage point of entry. I get it - you save credit card info...so I don't have to enter my credit card info...which is already saved in one of the handful of identical products out there most of us use. Wow. Congratulations on a novel product. Your issue is you only get one chance to make a first impression, and the sneaky "whoops, looks like you've got a Link account now!" way you go about creating these accounts, under the radar (which is what all these comments seem to be uniformly upset about), leaves a bad taste that I'm not coming back from. So even if you've got a superior service, you've already lost me because I don't appreciate how you bamboozled you way into my inbox to begin with.

We’re sorry for the frustrating experience. Link is designed to speed up checkout by saving payment and contact details, but we understand that a quick checkout flow can feel unexpected if an account was created without you realizing it. If you want help with a Link account or removing saved details, please visit https://support.link.com/contact/login? so our team can review the request and guide you through the next steps.
I subscribed to a Substack blog and Link intercepted it and set up an account. I had never heard of it and didn’t consent to it getting my information. I have requested deletion. I have other Substack subscriptions which did not result in a Link intercept. When I requested deletion I was told my subscription would be cancelled. Waiting to see. I would rather cancel than use this.

We’re sorry for the confusion here. Link can create a saved checkout experience during a fast payment flow, which may feel unexpected if you did not realize an account was set up. If you requested deletion, that should be handled through the Link support process. Please visit https://support.link.com/contact/login? so our team can review the request and help confirm the next step. If you later want to manage or remove the Link account tied to that payment method, Support can guide you through the proper options there.
I had a brand new credit card which I used for the sole purpose of registering with Link in order to pay for a monthly subscription to a magazine. A few days later I noticed a number of fraudulent payments on the card. This happened to me twice. I raised the issue with Link, but I simply got pushed from one person to another. Emails were ignored. The staff were superficially polite, but they did not help. The system seems designed to obsuficate until the person seeking help just gives up.

Thank you for letting us know. We understand how upsetting it is to see fraudulent charges on a card you only used with Link. Please contact your bank to dispute any unauthorized charges and use our lookup tool at https://support.stripe.com/questions/unknown-charge-from-stripe to report the merchant; we investigate all reports of fraudulent activity and work to prevent misuse of our platform. If you want to review any Link account activity tied to your payment details, please contact us here: https://support.link.com/contact/login? so the issue can be checked through the proper channel.
