LifeRich PublishingReviews of liferichpublishing.com

The journey of publishing a book is long and painful. You’re bound to hit some potholes. But LifeRich Publishing is a great option for those that need/want a team to help them get through the process.

I am overall very pleased with LIFERICH. During the process there were a couple times when their response to a question was a long time coming; but the majority of the time they were efficient and friendly.

My experience with LifeRich Publishing was a good experience for me as a first time author. I realize that the pandemic caused some of the issues of concern to me - such as lengthy response time to answer questions or to keep me informed regarding the progress of the process. The completed hardback copy was not completed as indicated during the editing. However, I would use LifeRich Publishing again, and I would recommend them to others.

There were a few obstacles along the way to final product. Mostly delays in when certain steps on the timeline would be completed. It was difficult to stay in contact with my coordinator. Unreturned emails, phone call messages, etc. Also, there was a lack of communication as to the timeline for when the book would go live. The only way I found out was that a literary agent called from Pennsylvania and when I asked him how he found out about the book, he told me he saw it on Amazon. It would have been nice if I’d been notified beforehand so I could be more prepared. . However, once I made contact with my marketing rep, all went well. He took me under his wing and made sure every concern was addressed. He worked hard and successfully to keep me sane. And the final product far exceeded my hopes and expectations. I’m incredibly pleased with the book. It’s beautiful. The editing is amazing. I couldn’t be happier.

Everyone has been very helpful and supportive to make this dream possible.

Sarah Turner was great to work with. However, I had a problem because the art department did not read the story (or the Bible) to understand the plot of the main character, Ruth of the Bible, before doing the artwork. Also Getty pictures are not the best pictures to use for the cover of Middle Eastern women. I also feel they did not keep in contact with the author on a timely basis. Weeks would pass before a question was finally answered.

There was a misunderstanding, I had my book edited before I sent it to LifeRich. When they got it from me I wanted them to edit it their way. I didn't see the email from them that had my book already done. I went ahead and okayed it without seeing the finished product. I regret it, but in the end the book turned out great.

Independent of slowdowns due to Covid, LifeRich handled the publishing of my fourth effort with speed and aplomb. My only issue is that they are not as price competitive as they could be, and do not make much allowance for the author on purchasing their own books.
