Learning Strategy & Design (LS&D) is an instructional design training company founded in 2014 by Jill Davidian. Jill is an instructional designer with 20+ years of experience, including time as a hiring manager. Since 2019, LS&D has run the Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA), a self-paced certification program with 1,200+ graduates. AIDA helps career changers build the portfolio that gets them hired as instructional designers, using the Applied ID Portfolio Method and the LEAD AI Framework.

I know there are many opinions about "paying for help", but I don't regret my decision to join AIDA. Not only did I learn the foundation to ID and the software used, I have developed some amazing relationships !!! I can definitely say, what effort you put into the program matters, so your future is literally in your own hands.

I recently completed Applied Instructional Design Academy and couldn’t be happier with the results. The course provided not only a solid foundation in instructional design but also personalized guidance and practical resources that were crucial for my success. AIDA is such a supportive program with a lot of rigor and fully prepared anyone looking to transition into instructional design. The community that you are able to connect and network with is also invaluable. I cannot recommend AIDA enough!

Applied Instructional Design Academy prepared me so well for a career transition from teaching to instructional design.
