Contactor for Home warranty sent a technician who visually looked at my unit, touched the drum and sent a determination back to Insurance Company that the issue was not due to normal wear and tear. I am single and do 1 to 2 loads of laundry a week. I have never overloaded this washer. This incompetent person made this determination without even opening the unit up. I do not recommend this company.

I have a range hood K1003A model which needs to replace the filter. Since your product k1003A has a very good quality, I changed the same filter about 3 years ago. The problem happened on your web site which showed the incorrect size of filter. 3 years ago I met the same problem which confused me that I found the size shown on the web didn't match the actual size. When I ordered the same filter last week, It spent me at least half hour to figure out the web size is incorrect. To correct web size only needs 1 minute for web master but you can not do it for at least 3 years. that is why I give you one star to alert your service. I have to admit you have a good product but service is bad. I hope this message can change your web filter size so that other customers won't go thru the same trouble I went.

We’ve had our hood for only 3 years and the lights started flashing then would go off for several minutes then back on for several minutes. Customer service generally are not helpful and don’t seem to know their product or are willing to help. I would not recommend this product or this company.

Bought stainless steel filters, but the screws a springs got rusted after first wash, even though followed the clean instructions. Called customer service and was told there is no warranty, and they are not responsible for the return shipping fee if the customer needs to return the defective products. The product is not worth $50/pair. The following is the updated review after reading the seller’s response to my previous review: I ordered this set of stainless steel baffle filters through K-Star website on Dec.11 and received the products about 8 days after. The first time I contacted company was the phone call and left a message, but nobody returned call until I called again on 12/22. After I spoke to Kevin who had all the correspondences with me, I emailed the pictures of the filters with the rusted screws and springs. The answer was “ the company never got any complaints and provides no warranty”. After that, no matter how I asked to replace the products (since nobody had complained, I guess mine was just the exception) thru email or phone calls, there was nobody replied/answered at all. In your reply to my previous review, I had all the answers in my emails already and even attached the picture of the detergent I have been using for my dishwasher. Is it so-called “strong chemicals”?? And why only the screws and springs on the filters were rusted??? You suggested the aluminum filters, I also responded to you already. Those filters came with the hood I bought from your distributor, they didn’t last long, so that’s why I chose the stainless steel ones this time. I have done nothing wrong. As a consumer, I didn’t ask more than getting a replacement or returning a defect product.

Mei, We are sorry that your experience was not as expected. We always have and always will take care of defective products. However, in 15 years of our business, not one customer has ever experienced rusted screws within days of their purchase, so we cannot help but wonder what made your case so special. As we’ve talked in the past, the only logical conclusion we can come up with is that you have submerged it in very strong chemicals before putting it in the dishwasher. As you were able to come up with an alternative explanation, we have no choice but to accept this one. Filters are consumables. As such, they are not covered under warranty. Because we offer free shipping for the filters, if you wish to return, you would have to pay for shipping. However, it is our understanding that you do not wish to pay for return, so we also provided you an alternative option: we can deduct the difference if you instead choose to purchase the aluminum filters (considering how unsatisfied you are with the baffle filters). But you insisted that you want to return, so this option was abandoned. However, should you change your mind, we are always ready to ship you the aluminum filters.
