I have published and peer-reviewed in…
I have published and peer-reviewed in ophthalmology for roughly fifteen years, and Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Ophthalmology stands out for its editorial consistency. Submissions are handled at a reasonable pace, reviewer comments are substantive rather than perfunctory, and requested revisions consistently aim to strengthen the science. Correspondence with the editorial office has been professional and, notably, collegial — authors are treated as colleagues, not submission numbers. For residents and early-career researchers who ask where to submit, I recommend Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Ophthalmology without hesitation.
