Overall I love "I'm the chef too". The bonding that my son and I experience over this and his excitement is priceless. Yes there is an auto renew feature for subscriptions just like anything else (Hulu, netflix) if your on top of it you can remember to cancel before the charges. Some kits are better than others, yes sometimes you may need to have some ingredients (like water on hand), but overall I have no complaints.

We absolutely love these kits and the special experiences they create for our family. Each one is thoughtfully themed, fun, educational, and always something new and exciting. They’ve become something we truly look forward to doing together — both our kids and we love them, and we highly recommend them! 😊

We had a great experience! We love the themed boxes. My kids look forward to them every month, and customer service is really great. I highly recommend these kits!

We’ve had such a great experience and so much fun with the monthly kits! Each one comes with everything you need (except the refrigerated ingredients), and they’re the perfect level for my 2nd grader to do mostly on her own while my toddler joins in with a little help. We’re excited to try the Elf on the Shelf kit next! The activities are creative, engaging, and everything tastes delicious too!

I kept on seeing advertisements for this company on social media and decided to look further into it. I saw the negative feedback which almost deterred me however we did a 6 month subscription just to try it and I am so happy I did. My 3 and 7 year old absolutely love the kits and look forward to it every month. It is a fun and engaging activity for us and actually tastes delicious. Our favorite kits have been the fudge fossils and smores, we also tried a Barbie kit that was fun too. I can see why customers are upset about transit times and the renewal process, however if you read all of the details when you order it explains that the subscriptions take a few weeks to ship and it also explains that you will be auto renewed if you do not cancel before. I have not had to reach out to customer service yet for any issues but so far we are very happy and will likely continue with the upcoming renewal. I think if you read all of the details and understand what you are signing up for than it is a wonderful experience.
