Introduction In the fast-growing world of SEO and digital PR, reliability and transparency are everything. Professionals depend on mutual trust to execute collaborations smoothly. However, not every experience meets those expectations. This article outlines a recent interaction with Hexydog, which resulted in an unresolved payment situation. The Deal Overview As part of a professional collaboration, I was assigned to secure a guest post placement on MSN. The agreement was clear: Successful placement of the article Inclusion of a live backlink Agreed payment of $160 upon completion The task was completed successfully, and the MSN link was delivered as promised. What Went Wrong Despite fulfilling all agreed requirements, the payment of $160 was not received. Multiple follow-ups were made over time, but: Responses were inconsistent Clear payment timelines were not honored The issue remains unresolved This created a situation where professional effort and delivered results were not compensated as agreed. Become a Medium member Why This Matters In industries like SEO and guest posting, such situations can have serious implications: Wasted time and resources Financial loss for service providers Breakdown of trust within the professional community When commitments are not honored, it raises concerns about reliability and business practices. A Note to Industry Professionals Based on this experience, here are a few recommendations: Always secure partial or full upfront payment Use escrow or third-party protection when possible Work with agencies that have verifiable credibility Keep clear written agreements and proof of work Final Thoughts This article reflects a real experience involving a completed MSN guest post for which payment is still pending at the time of writing. I remain open to resolving this matter professionally. However, until then, it serves as a reminder for others to proceed cautiously and prioritize secure collaboration practices.
