Horrible American owned company that is forcing a horrible monopoly on Canadians.

Hellodent.com is not what it appears to be. It presents itself as a neutral dental search site, but it’s owned and operated by Dentalcorp — which is majority owned by L Catterton, a U.S.-based private equity firm. The site only lists Dentalcorp’s own clinics across Canada. These practices keep their “family dental” names, giving the impression they’re independent, when in reality they’re part of an American corporate chain. Patients should know they’re not choosing freely among Canadian practices — they’re being funneled into an American-owned network.
