Thank you for sharing this feedback. We’re happy to provide you with some more insight here! Our products use an airless pump without the typical straw that you see inside the bottle. Unlike bottles with an internal straw, an airless pump works like a vacuum. As you pump the product, a disc at the bottom of the bottle slowly moves up, which creates a vacuum effect, and allows the serum to stay in contact with the mechanism. This innovative design gets every bit of product out while maintaining its integrity. Airless packaging technology increases the products’ shelf life, as well. When using the airless pump for the first time, you’ll need to “prime” it by slowly pumping approximately 10 times. This creates the vacuum necessary to dispense the product and activate the pump.
