Healthy Living by MargretaReviews of healthylivingbymargreta.com

Margreta is a well versed and knowledgeable trainer. Her experience in working with the public and in depth understanding of the body and health from her academic background, is extensive. She is warm, down to earth, and realistic in her presence and in her approach to training. I appreciate that her focus is on health and function over weight loss and performance (but that she will address these as well if you desired) because she understands how to keep me safe and functioning for my profession (massage therapist), and lifestyle. In my experience with other trainers I have been over worked and even injured because they didn't pay close enough attention to my individual body and lifestyle. She has successfully improved my shoulder injury (frozen shoulder) by increasing my shoulder strength and making it much more mobile without any stress or injury. I also suffer from a weak core from a c-section which is seen a lot of improvement, both in full body function and look, since I started my work with her. I highly recommend her.

Healthy Living by Margreta is filled with practical information which helps to improve my everyday life. The recommendations are easy to understand and put into practice. Margreta has helped me to better understand my health and what I need to do to improve it. Training with her combined with these articles have especially helped me during COVID to stay on track.

Margreta is very knowledgeable about auto-immune disorders. She is listens closely and offers suggestions that she knows will be best for me. I appreciate her expertise, thoughfulness, and responsiveness.

My goal for COVID was that I would have a six-pack stomach by the end of it. I knew that improving my eating, sleep and exercise all went with this goal. But I needed a motivator and expert to lead the way. With the gym closed due to COVID, I switched my training routine from working with a swim trainer and taking classes at the gym to working out at home by myself to hiring Margreta. Not only has Margreta helped me get a core that is definably toned, she has leaned down my legs and kept all my pre-covid clothes fitting perfectly--and I only need to work out with her 2 hours a week. Margreta gets fitness and motivation. She is realistic and grounded and has a brain that she is constantly filling with expertise. The best part is that it is virtual, so I can pack more into my day because there is no commute to meet her. Thank you!!

Margreta really knows her stuff and is always keeping up to date on the latest medical info and studies. She genuinely wants to help improve your health and life. She also makes it makes fun while doing so!

I have been training with Margreta for over five years now, 3 days/week. I saw initial results in the first few weeks and kept at it. Even though I exercised regularly before (mostly swimming), my fitness level has dramatically increased since working with her. I am hypermobile, and I have asthma. I only mention this because Margreta is sensitive to my past injuries, health issues and limitations, and she is very knowledgeable about how to successfully work within those limitations to improve my overall strength and fitness. Before training with her I was always uncomfortable with the idea of weightlifting; I didn’t want to injure myself or have a trainer injure me by pushing me into doing things that I simply shouldn’t do. Margreta is an expert trainer, knows the body, and can adjust according to your needs. I enthusiastically recommend her to people of all ages and levels of fitness.

Topics are timely, fairly concise, and thoughtful. I have enjoyed reading personal experiences to which I can relate.
