My only complaint is that you cannot have two accounts see the same collar. I'm not signing my whole Google account on to my wife's phone so she can use the collar. Crazy they don't have that feature.

The collars have helped tremendously. We went from having a fully fenced in yard, to no fence at all. My only complaint, we don’t have the strongest WiFi. I do feel like the collars end up lagging some. Our dogs seem to go over the boundary without the emergency boundary alert going off. Also, while I’m inside, and trying to check location, it won’t update their locations in the yard. It just has them as paused at their last known location. Other times, I’ll get a notification that a dog is way out of boundary, but the dog is on the porch.. which worries me that the dog is getting corrected when it doesn’t need to be…..

Monica was very helpful. Cleared up some of the confusion I was having.

The customer service was stellar. Halo held up their end of the deal by replacing the defective collar, and did so right away (much to my surprise). It only took one week from the date of the notification in the app that my charging port was defective. This is good customer service in my opinion. Initially, when I contacted dog park, I was told that it would take 7-10 business days for the claim to even be processed. No expedited delivery option was offered. It was actually denied. So I was not very comfortable with the process. However, exactly one week later, we are back in business and my dog is receiving all of the protections as before! Alexis was very hospitable and easy to talk to. The only reason why I didn’t leave a five star review is because Halo only sent the body of the collar (the defective part); thus the bare minimum. I will now have to purchase a new piece of plastic for the collar if I wish to change it, but overall, in my opinion, Halo withheld their end of the deal by replacing the faulty unit. I look forward to more positive endeavors with the company.

So far I have really liked my halo 4, only problem is it has had critical issus and needed replaced 3 times now... That being said it is always a good experience working with tech support, Monica was great today!

She was helpful and the process was easy

Samantha was fantastic and helped trouble shoot and walk me through the process. The only reason I gave 4/5 instead of 5 was we did not resolve the issue. Samantha did escalate this to engineering for me so more help to come. A bit disappointed that a product with this price tag is not functioning properly.

The collars are excellent - although quite large. They are very accurate and provide feedback with accuracy. The only challenge is that it has a proprietary charger. Since I have multiple houses, this is such a pain. I have previously kept a separate Fi account and collars because at least those I can charge (in a pinch) on a wireless charger. I may revert to the Fi even though it does not have boundary warnings and is not as accurate because a dead collar is zero use. No clue why a company would make such a feature instead of using standard charging protocols.
