Absolutely awful experience. We have two collars and neither one works as it should. The gps is awful, the collar dings and beeps at random and worst of all the fence doesn’t work as our dogs are constantly running through it. Tonight one of our dogs was nearly hit by a car. Zero customer service. It’s so expensive and it never ever works. They are cheaply made and it shows. It literally NEVER works. Please do not waste the money

What people need to understand that is not on their website or on Amazon. Your will spend $600.00 for this and you think great I will get it and be able to start training my dog. Oh what they forget to mention anywhere is to register the collar you now need to spend $9.99 a month for their cheapest plan. That is right you spend 600.00 and it will not work until you agree to give them another 10.00 a month. Customer service acts like this is the first time they have ever heard of this complaint. Just know expensive to buy and not cheap to own

I bought a Halo 3 collar in December. Since then I have tried getting help from support because my dog has been lost 3 times. We live on 4 acres in the country. Sometimes the app will show the collar sometimes it just spins and spins and spins and just says connecting to your collar or updating your collar. It is constantly saying it can’t connect …..it has WiFi, cellular AND Bluetooth and it can’t connect to any of it?!? This is some awesome technology!!! Sometimes it shows our dog half a mile away when he is actually with us behind our home and the collar will start beeping when he is clearly inside the fence. Sometimes we receive notifications he is outside the boundary and he is asleep in our living room. I have reached out for help SEVERAL times and the response I get is an email suggesting articles. I bought a Halo 2 to see if it is different and also so I can see if they are really this awful or if something is wrong with mine or if it’s the 3. I spent ANOTHER $600 and my package came and inside the package was a usb beacon. I didn’t order a beacon but I sure got charged for a beacon AND a collar. The email said the package has shipped and had a tracking number and it said it contained a beacon and a Halo 2 collar. No Halo 2 collar. That order was placed February 25th. I have now called several times, sent numerous emails and NO ONE has even responded. The company DOES NOT care about people. The customer service is not bad, it’s non existent. If I could give 0 stars I would. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!! Don’t spend this kind of money for a product that doesn’t work, a company that steals your money, and refuses to handle their wrong doing.

I like the geofencing idea but when it triggers when the dog is more than 60 feet from the indicated trigger point it is not only useless but with a well trained dog (service dog) it is destructive. Perhaps geo fencing is the future but it is not good enough for now. As redundant as your extensive training videos are to one is very familiar with trained dogs this has made this dog scared to go outside.

This collar is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. It gives inconsistent feedback when the fence is crossed. Even when I can see the "warning" on my phone the collar doesn't do anything. Then when the collar is brought back towards the inside of the fence sometimes it will start shocking - the complete opposite of what it is advertised to do. The charging system makes no sense. Who has a USB-C to USB-C wall charger? On top of that the adapter to the collar is completely unnecessary and is easy to lose. They do this so if you lose it you have to buy a $35 charging kit on their website, you can't just buy the adapter. The customer support has not been helpful in resolving these issues. Inconsistent feedback is no way to train a dog and I don't feel comfortable putting this on my dog with the fence enabled.

I'm with others I've read, in that if I could give negative star review, I would! I am sick and tiered of my Irish Setter getting zapped on our front porch or back deck and even inside our home well within her safe zone! We have more than 6 acers and her fence uses about 2 acers which should be plenty of boundary room for error, yet she is consistently shocked literally in front of our home hundreds of feet from the boundaries. The GPS is nearly NEVER correct with her being zapped and finding her when she has been zapped. She freezes in the spot she's been zapped and will not bark or make any noise. While the Halo Collar is a great concept and makes complete sense with today's satellite technology, I DO NOT recommend this collar to ANYONE trying to train their dog/pup! As I've learned, Halo is expensive, inaccurate and there are certainly other products that will help.

Have used Halo Collar for about 4 months and the collar and beacons has overall worked well. The GPS tracker is sometimes off and warn the dog when it shouldn't. Here is the big issue, I bought collar and accessories for nearly $1,000 and signed up for the monthly charges that you must pay to use the product. 4 months into my subscription, they increased the monthly rate by 67%! I wouldn't accept a 67% price increase, but I have no choice. If I don't pay for a subscription - the product will not work and I just wasted $1,000. The fact that the product can't be used without their subscription, and they can set whatever price they can come up with as soon as you signed up is crazy! I trusted them and invested in their product. BIG MISTAKE....

I wish I could give zero stars. What a joke. I'm laying in bed and herd my dog get shocked. The GPS is accurate within 50 ft. So if you have a small or narrow property like us...this is garbage. If you don't have 10 acres square you should avoid this junk at all cost.
