We live in the country and our border collie loves the room to run but my border he would also chase cars on the dirt road. We wanted him to have his freedom but stay safe so we ordered a Halo Collar. He caught on right away with the outdoor training. We have had it for a year now I believe ,and he is living his best life!

Hailer collar has great customer support. I have talked with them a few times. Each time it is evident they are really trying to solve the issues that I was having. I own two Halo collars. I bought the second collar because of my experiences with the first. They have a great product and great customer service In addition, I have always felt that ho collar had my pet best interest at heart. I find that unusual but wonderful. Finally, a bark out to William A. One of their great customer service representatives

I bought my Halo collar (the first version) back in March of 2021 after my goldendoodle was escaping our in-ground fence time and time again. Since then we had several replacements that were of no cost me, but were also of no fault of mine. At least two instances the collar melted through the supplied USB-C cable and once it just stopped working altogether. Years later and now operating on the Halo 3 collar all hardware concerns have been addressed due to how the collar charges and waterproofing. I feel as though if the collar suddenly stopped working that the company would work with me on getting a replacement as well. I did pay for an upgrade from the Halo 2 to the Halo 3 but my previous upgrade from the Halo 1 I originally had to the Halo 2 was free and I probably would have been fine to continue using my Halo 2 but I wanted the longer battery life that the Halo 3 offers. That said, I’ve recommended the collar to several friends and family - all of which find it hard to justify the price of the collar compared to traditional methods. I see it as an investment that has paid itself off over and over by giving me more peace of mind on where my dog is and is not at any second of the day. Knowing he’s safely contained in my yard or any of the numerous invisible fences I have set up is a very much a 21st century luxury that I’m comfortable supporting.
