They charge you $395 for early cancelation fee even if you cancel one day before the contract ends. It is not a prorated fee as with other companies.

I got swindled into signing up for Green Mountain energy. I was told verbally that it was the same price and that I’d be helping the environment and the sale person would also give me a $25 gift card. Come to find out they really aren’t helping the environment very much and the bill is 300% what the normal energy company charges. I also explained the bill wasn’t in my name but the sales lady said “just do it anyways and the bill holder can just cancel it at any time”. Also they make it extremely hard to cancel the service. Absolute nightmare of a company. Steer clear!

Never heard of these people but let me tell u a story. I had a bad experience this company just showed up on my electric bill and caused me to get a 250.00 early deactivate fee and they won't pay me back for there screw up. They said my wife did but she didn't I asked her. She said no she didn't. Because I know if she would of done it she would of used my name. So Inow have more expensive electric bill that they are the same price as my electric company you won't save anything. So just took them off make sure you shop wisely.
