Advance payment made, goods not delivered in full — refund refused
We placed orders with Golden Paper Company Limited and paid three advance payments totalling USD 50,607.66. The goods delivered covered only USD 49,224.69, leaving a shortfall of USD 1,382.97. After months of follow-up with their commercial team (Cassie) and management (Eric), we were told that a refund is not possible due to Chinese banking restrictions, and that the only option is to place a new order to offset the balance. We do not consider this an acceptable resolution. We are a stationery manufacturer from Serbia and first made contact with this supplier at the DRUPA trade fair in Germany.
