That particular grapefruit story was based on several scientific studies, which we did our best to outline in detail. Not quite sure what your issue was with it, but hope we can change your mind! Clearly you read the site and we want to do what we can to keep you reading it!

Hey, I'm not quite sure which article you are referencing, but if you give me a link, I'll have our editorial team take a look to make sure it's up to standards. Speaking for myself, I loved Quantumania! However, we tend to let our writers voice their own opinions so no doubt some had a different view than me!

You'll be happy to know we've since switched ad providers, specifically because we weren't happy with things like this. We are now using Mediavine/Pubnation, one of the biggest ad companies on the internet and they are pretty standardized in what they do. Try it out and give us feedback on whether you are still having this issue. To be clear though, advertisers have no influence at all on what we write or what we report on the site. We don't send out emails, so not quite sure what you're referencing, but if you give me more detail I can try to look into it. I'm pretty sure that's not something we are doing on our end though!
