Response from Gen Mobile· Jun 22, 2026
Hi Demencio, thank you for your feedback. For eligible customers, Lifeline phones are provided for free as a courtesy from Gen Mobile. These phones are designed for essential use (calls, texts, and light browsing). If you need a phone that better fits your needs, we offer low-cost upgrade options. As an alternative, you can also bring your own device (BYOD). Call 611 for more info on your upgrade options.
Service is great I just wish I had more Internet when I'm not home. Cause I otherwise use the wifi.

Hello Ashley, thanks for the great review. We are glad you are enjoying the service. If you are on our Lifeline plan, your data is covered by a government subsidy. If you need more data when you're on the go, you can easily upgrade to a plan with a higher limit for as low as $10 a month. If you are a prepaid customer, you can also change your plan at any time. To explore your options, you can call us at 1-833-528-1380 (or dial 611 from your phone) or visit genmobile.com/plans.
