We chose BeOnd expecting a premium Business Class airline experience. Instead, they cancelled our return flight from Malé just two days before departure, apparently because the plane wasn’t full. BeOnd then gave us two unacceptable options: fly economy on another airline or take a refund and find our own way home. They refused to rebook us in Business Class with another carrier because the fare was higher than what we paid — which is normal when booking last-minute. As a result, we had to purchase new tickets ourselves at more than double the cost. Never have we experienced an airline cancelling a flight to save money and leaving passengers to deal with the consequences. This is not a premium service — it’s unreliable and expensive. We strongly advise against flying with BeOnd.

Had to cancel a flight in March 2025, still havent received the promised refund almost 5 months later after numerous Emails. I dont think they ever intend to make any refunds, its a clear tactic of them...cant possibly recommend to anyone to book anything with beOnd...

NO COMMENT. Marta Brino Bet

Experience Report on the Booking and Execution of Our Trip with BeOnd – May 2025 We originally booked a flight with BeOnd in late March 2025 for travel in May of the same year. Even before departure, the airline made multiple changes to our itinerary: first, the return flight was pushed back by two days. Then—just seven days before departure—the entire booking was suddenly and inexplicably cancelled. At no point did BeOnd, a self-proclaimed "premium airline", communicate proactively or offer any alternative solutions. As a result, we were forced to rebook on short notice with an alternative route from Zurich to Malé—an effort that came with its own challenges. Repeated schedule changes, additional hotel rebooking fees, and extra costs for connecting flights all added to the disruption. The outbound flight from Zurich to Malé was delayed by roughly three hours. The onboard experience was underwhelming at best: a partially defective cabin, an overwhelmed and visibly stressed crew, and mediocre food and beverage service defined the flight. Things deteriorated further on the return leg: the return flight from Malé to Zurich was cancelled again—this time roughly twelve hours before departure, and again with no notice from BeOnd. We only learned of the cancellation through our own research. The only “solution” offered was an Economy Class seat with Turkish Airlines—according to BeOnd, the only available option. Due to personal commitments, we had no choice but to accept this inadequate alternative. In the end, we were simply relieved to return home safely. From start to finish, the booking process and execution were unprofessional and chaotic. At no point did BeOnd demonstrate anything resembling customer-oriented service or constructive problem-solving. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend BeOnd in any capacity—although, of course, each traveler must come to their own conclusion. Since our return, we have been working with the appropriate authorities to formally address these incidents and to pursue potential sanctions, in the hope of holding BeOnd accountable—at least after the fact.
