FileShotFileshot is a privacy focused file sharing and file tools platform built to give users more control, more speed and more value than traditional file sharing services. Many platforms limit upload size, slow down transfers, insert ads or track user behavior. Fileshot was created as a simple alternative that avoids those compromises. Our goal is to provide a fast, reliable and private way to send files of any kind while keeping the experience straightforward and affordable. All files are encrypted in the browser before upload, which means the encryption happens on your device and not on our servers. Only you and the people you share your link with can access the content. We never see your passwords or decryption keys, and we avoid building any systems that reduce user control or weaken privacy. This approach allows users to share sensitive files confidently without relying on backend level trust.Fileshot supports large file sizes even on the free plan, customizable expiration windows, password protection, optional download limits, and a clean interface with no ads. Upload speeds are optimized through direct and parallel transfers, and downloads are designed to start instantly without unnecessary steps. In addition to file sharing, Fileshot includes a complete set of browser based tools such as file conversion, compression, metadata removal, PDF editing, archiving and more. These tools operate locally in the browser whenever possible, so users can work with their files without installing software or uploading more than necessary. We aim to offer some of the best pricing in the space by keeping infrastructure efficient and focusing on what users actually need. Fileshot was built because existing services were either too limited, too expensive, or lacked meaningful privacy controls. We continue improving the platform based on user feedback and real world usage patterns, with the long term goal of making secure and private file handling accessible to everyone.
