Extremely poor communication and disappointing post-sale service from FHI Remodeling and their salesperson Alex Miller (Doors and Windows division). The sales process was responsive and professional until the purchase was completed. After payment, communication became inconsistent, delayed, and at times nonexistent. I had to repeatedly follow up for basic updates regarding manufacturing, permits, delivery, and installation scheduling. The timeline continuously changed — from January, to February, to “any day now” — with no proactive communication or clear accountability. I was forced to chase updates, send multiple messages, and even file an online complaint just to receive responses. At one point, my husband received a voicemail that was nearly impossible to understand, which only added to the confusion instead of resolving it. For a major home project involving doors and windows, customers expect transparency, organization, and reliable communication. Unfortunately, FHI Remodeling failed to provide consistent follow-up or clear scheduling throughout the process. The experience after the sale did not match the professionalism shown during the initial pitch. I strongly encourage future customers to carefully consider the level of communication and project management they may receive after signing the contract.

This was the worst scam we have ever dealt with. Signed a year's contract for $40,000 for all windows and doors. Spent 3 hours with a rep and was fully measured. Called and asked if we could start the project with 2 upstairs opening and was quoted $15,000 for "phase 1". We challenged the cost and they assured us it was the most costly opening, leaving $25,000 "unused". We called to complete the job and was told it would be an additional $59,000. Their final offer was $36,000 more, making the job $51,000, not the original $40,000. Their argument was that phase one was a new contract that deleted the first one. We have never seen a business so underhanded. It will now cost us additional money to go elsewhere, as the average cost for our home is $40,000. The phase 1 cost of $15,000 was a complete scam and overcharge.

Scam company! Consumer beware! This company has been using spoofing technology to constantly call my cell phone every day since June 2, 2024 using a different number each time. They never leave a message when I decline the calls. The Caller ID shows FHIA Remodeling each time from a different Florida number. I never gave them my number and am not interested in doing business with this company. I have been on The Do Not Call Registry since 2014. This company even resorted to texting me twice on 6/02/24 asking me how many windows I have in my house. I replied and told them to stop texting me, and I am not interested in anything they are selling, then I blocked their text messages. Since then, I have been getting 6-10 phone calls from FHIA Remodeling everyday. I reported them to the FTC and the Florida Attorney General. I would never recommend this company to anyone because of their shady and unscrupulous business practices. They are just out to harass possible customers. If I could give zero stars I would.
