BEWARE THEY OVER-HIRE TO FIRE
BEWARE THEY OVER-HIRE TO FIRE Optician Technician - Lebanon, PA This company makes sure to over hire for a certain position so they can pick and choose who they want to fire. Do not apply for the Optician Technician position there are SEVERAL people for this position; They'll make budget cuts and let you go. Within two weeks of working here I was fired for missing a day since I was sick at home with a stomach flu. Where I was STUCK in my bathroom all night and morning. I called off and the supervisor Sydney told me she was sorry to hear I was sick and hoped I felt better and to check in with her. The following day I checked in with Sydney which she told me it was "UNACCEPTABLE" | had called off and "DID NOT CARE" for a doctors note. Stated there was nothing I could do and told me to "GET OUT!" and give her my things. There was no reasoning or negotiating. I'm shocked this woman turned completely cruel and was a different person than the one I met at the interview. This company does not believe in mistakes or giving people a chance. I wish I was exaggerating this encounter I'm still in disbelief. Oh later in the day there was 3 job postings for the same position from this company. I can assume l'm not the only one who got fired or caught in the firing spree.
