Hi Thomas, Thank you for sharing your experience aboard the Humboldt Explorer. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the service, streamlined organization, and world-class Galápagos diving, along with highlights like the onboard Jacuzzi! Your comments regarding cabin comfort and meals have been shared with the team as part of our ongoing maintenance and review process. A couple of quick notes for clarity - the Jacuzzi temperature is intentionally capped for diver safety, consistent with widely accepted dive medicine guidance. Regarding nitrox and the fuel charge, nitrox has always been optional onboard as not all divers choose to use it, and we prefer not to include mandatory charges for optional services. Fuel surcharges are handled separately due to regularly fluctuating government subsidies in the Galápagos. We are always transparent about what is and is not included on our website and in the documents prior to the charter so there are not any surprises for guests. While the Galápagos is a higher-priced destination due to its remote nature and regulatory costs, we do our best to keep trip pricing competitive with comparable vessels. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review. We value feedback from all of our guests and wish you happy diving.

Hello Jillian. Thank you for sharing your experience, it’s wonderful to hear you’d love to do this trip again. Captain Lauren and the crew will be thrilled by your kind words. Creating a safe, welcoming, and fun atmosphere on board is always a priority, and it’s great to know that came through both on the dives and in the time spent together. Octopus and turtle encounters always make dives extra special, and we’re so glad you had the chance to experience them. Thank you for diving with us, and we hope to welcome you back aboard again soon.
