Hello Mr. Sterny, Thank you for the compliment about our products. While we do use packing materials in our boxes, the packing peanuts that we use are all natural and grain based. They do not harm the environment. They can be composted or washed down the drain and are environmentally friendly. When ordering from us, you can always request that alternative packaging material be used in place of the packing peanuts. We have air-filled pillows that can be substituted. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your continued patronage. We hope you have a happy and healthy day. Customer Care Team BlueSpring International
