DiomaDioma is built for people who have outgrown beginner language learning apps and are still stuck. Most learners plateau somewhere around low intermediate. You can understand a podcast, follow a conversation, read a news article, and still hesitate every time you have to produce the language yourself. Vocabulary apps don't fix that, because they never ask you to speak or write anything real. A tutor does, but it's $30 to $60 per hour.Dioma sits between the two. You speak and write in your target language, and you get specific corrective feedback on what you actually produced: what worked, what a native speaker would say instead, and why. That practice runs on an expert-created, CEFR-aligned curriculum, over 700 topics across Spanish, French, and Hebrew, spanning high beginner through advanced. The system places you honestly, then recalibrates as your output shows what you've mastered and where you still need work.Serious learning. Real results.Plans start at $13/month.

Dioma has been a great asset in my language learning journey! The personalized lesson plans make it easy to set and meet my daily lesson plan objectives. I love the freedom and flexibility to learn on my own terms, and to focus on what I want to, while checking my progress against the larger tracker.

I came across this novel system serendipitously and I don’t regret it. As the website correctly states, my level of Spanish seems stagnant. Interestingly, I just passed Level B 2 of the DELE exam in fact with a perfect score of 25/25 in the oral portion. DIOMA considered me B1 emerging initially and I think that was a true analysis. The format consists of a mixture of written and oral assessments and updates based on performance. It definitely requires persistence as a lot of the exercises seem repetitive which I presume is intentional. The team are very responsive. For example, the suggestion to incorporate a downloadable PDF to allow revision and review of new vocabulary or grammatical subtleties by me and it seems others is being implemented currently. In brief, this is an innovative approach that seems so far to have worked for me. It is, however, only for students who are serious and willing to persist. I’ll update my assessment when I have more experience with the platform.

I never used a language learning platform like this - it was much more conversational and natural and adapted to my needs than other platforms I have used. I really enjoyed using Dioma
