I believe your review is way overboard and or a product review! Our email to you indicated that we must receive authorization from our distributor and that it can take up to 5 days! It hasn't been close to that time frame. We did receive authorization today and you will be receiving an email in a few hours with return information from the employee you swore at on the phone! She is taking her daughter back to college, from Cleveland to Colorado. Yet she texted me asking to let you know she received authorization and will email you as soon as she can!!!

Under normal conditions we would have emailed you within 15 minutes! We are still getting bombarded with orders, (not complaining) but it has caused very few issues like this. Our purchasing dept. did not get the order out in time and we were showing the manufacturers stock but someone grabbed it before we did. There is no excuse for this I we are very sorry it happened.

Nico, thank you for the review. I am the owner of CompSource and I wanted to reply to you personally. This truly hurts me deeply that we can make a customer this pissed off! We did not start this company 21 years ago to have upset customers! First of all, at no time am I going to say anything as an excuse, I hate excuses, however I may say somethings as reality! I have brought in Rich who has been your sales rep from the start. We sat down and he explained that alternatives were given but the alternatives as well as your original order to this day have still not come into stock. As for your missing email he honestly looked disgusted with himself and said, "at that time there was a lot going on and I dropped the ball, no excuses!" So we are both very sorry about that. When he spoke about "a lot going on", he is speaking about the increased order volume of over 4000% percent! I know that number almost seems impossible but its true and overwhelming at the same time. We also sell items for the office so we carry antibacterial soaps, sanitizers, toilet paper etc. and between these products and webcams, monitors, motherboards and graphic cards we have been working nights and weekends (most remote) just to try to fulfill all orders. I have been amazed at how much are small crew has been able to accomplish without complaining. But I'm sure you are aware the graphics card category is almost as hard to get in stock as sanitizer foam :) We literally would have 100 in stock and within minutes it would be gone. In your case this was a manufacture drop ship and the manufacture had stock but by the time we ordered it (I don't know exact duration until our order was placed but not long) they were out of stock. We tried to outsource the product from anyone and no one had them in stock. I know we all demand what I believe is our normal level of service, but I just wanted you to understand even though we are able to go out and about with restrictions/covid. The distribution chains have not caught up fully and there are still hurdles we are trying to overcome. Even during this crisis we are maintaining a 97.99% of our orders leaving the same day, BUT there are always some that have issues. At this point there is nothing more that I can do but say I acknowledge your issue, I've spoken to your rep, we actually demanded that this manufacture give us realtime inventory because of your review and to solve this issue going forward. I believe your review has helped us resolve issues for the next customer but also please understand posting the same review on several review sites does nothing but hurt our business. You know it really hurts when you plaster a bad review on all review sites! Our last email to you was please reply back with a tracking number as we have not received the product back. Since this seems to be lost you may want to open a case with your shipping company that lost the product. If you insured it you will get reimbursed. I'm not sure how this warrants a 1 star review for us? We are willing to give you a credit but cannot until we receive the goods back!

The item was shipped from the manufacture, that is why we asked for a picture to prove to them that it was either used or not packaged properly. Once you provided that we credited and provided a pickup label. As far as the other 3 units we had communicated that they were coming from the manufacture, and we were having a hard time getting a solid ETA. We only canceled after you had threatened to do a fraud complaint and charge back if we couldn't provide an answer for the ETA by the end of that day. We tried as hard as we could but the manufacture was unable to give the date so we cancelled. As we would not be able to faithfully provide the product by the date you requested. You also said you would have the client refuse the 3 units if they shipped. So we are pretty sure we followed your directions.

Chris I am truly sorry for your frustration. We recently had Kendall Howard come to our location to do a lunch and learn and our Howard rep requested that we change the items from Manufacture drop ship to in stock as he stated they always have everything in stock and ready to ship! Obviously this is not the case and we will revert this back to how we had it prior. I requested Rich's emails and he did look to get back to you in a timely fashion, I know he said he passed along information as soon as it was given to him. Unfortunately regardless of where your purchase this, your wait will be similar, as it seems to be a build to order item, that will take a similar amount of time.

The item you purchased was the version 1 that is the part number. I'm not sure how that is our issue? I'm sorry how Microsoft would not accept the return for what you ordered.

You emailed Rich August 02, 2018 9:47 PM he replied back to you August 03, 2018 10:35 AM We checked with our WareHouse and they had no idea why you only received 2. They indicated that there should have been 4 in there. With that said, we will refund your Account $ 25.65. We have created a claim and it looks like it may have been a shipper issue!
