TRUST MILL
• Definition: A business—often run by non-attorney sales agents, insurance producers, or paralegals—that mass-produces one-size-fits-all living trust packages, typically targeting seniors through free seminars, direct mail, or telemarketing. • The Bait-and-Switch: Sales agents pose as estate planning or financial experts to gather sensitive personal and financial data, then use high-pressure tactics to sell high-commission, low-liquidity financial products like annuities or life insurance.
