Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear your overall experience has been great, but we’re sorry about the issues you’ve encountered with the packaging. The trays should always arrive fully sealed, so we understand your concern, especially with a sensitive stomach. If you ever receive trays with slits or that appear compromised, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Regarding the elongated trays, those were part of a temporary packaging change, and we understand they can be more difficult to portion. We appreciate you sharing this, as feedback like yours helps us improve. Please feel free to contact us if you need assistance. The Chi Dog Team

Amy, Thank you so much for sharing this — and for giving Chi Dog a try with two picky eaters. We’re really glad you loved the ingredients, and that the food looked and smelled great to you. And you’re exactly right — the trial pack exists for this reason: some dogs are wonderfully opinionated, and it helps you figure out what they’ll actually enjoy before committing. Also, thank you for the honest note about the star rating. We completely understand: even if the food is high quality, it still has to pass your dog’s “taste test,” and every dog is different. If you ever want to give it another shot, a few things that often help picky pups are: lightly warming the meal (5–10 seconds), adding a splash of warm water and mixing, or starting with the proteins they already like (beef/pork) and slowly blending in a small amount of another variety over time. Either way, we truly appreciate the thoughtful review — and thank you for recommending us to others who want the best for their pups. Warmly, The Chi Dog Team

Barbara, Thank you so much for the kind words and thoughtful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you love the quality of our food and that your dogs are enjoying it. We completely understand that price is a consideration. Chi Dog meals are made with human-grade meats, fresh vegetables, and whole grains, gently cooked and balanced by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist to meet AAFCO standards. Because we use only real, unprocessed ingredients (no fillers or organ meats), the cost can be higher than mass-produced brands — but that’s what ensures the nutritional quality you noticed. The larger veggie pieces you see aren’t fillers — they’re part of our TCVM-balanced recipes, providing fiber, natural antioxidants, and energy balance while supporting digestion and overall health. We truly appreciate your honest feedback and are grateful you took the time to share your experience. Give your pups some pets from all of us at Chi Dog! Warmly, The Chi Dog Team

Jean, We love to hear this—thank you! We’re thrilled your picky guy is loving the Fire Diet. We hear you on cost; if it helps, we can set up Half Meals (use Chi Dog as a topper) or tweak delivery cadence to fit your budget. Just say the word and we’ll tailor it for you. Warmly, The Chi Dog Team

Summer, Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re thrilled your dogs are doing well, and we appreciate the shout-out to our support team. On cost: we can often tune your plan to help—e.g., adjust tray sizes/ship cadence to cut shipping and packaging per meal. Just say the word and we’ll review options. On packaging: thanks for the honest feedback. A few quick opening tips: Let a chilled tray sit 5–10 min or run the edge under lukewarm water—seals release easier when not ice-cold. Use kitchen shears to snip a corner, then peel across the top. We’ve passed this to our packaging team as well—we’re actively exploring easier-open seals. Thank you for your support! Warmly, The Chi Dog Team
