Institute for Catholic Family Formationhe Institute for Catholic Family Formation is a Catholic apostolate dedicated to renewing the domestic church by forming parents as the primary spiritual educators of their children. Its mission centers on helping mothers and fathers understand how grace operates in the home and how their own interior life becomes the foundation for their children’s spiritual growth. The Institute teaches that children learn prayer, virtue, and faith not primarily through lessons, but through living close to parents who embody these realities.Through assessments, workshops, and an eight‑week formation series, the Institute trains parents to cultivate habits of daily prayer, sacramental awareness, emotional regulation, and virtue that create a stable spiritual atmosphere. Parents learn to model holiness in ordinary moments, shape a home culture ordered toward God, and make prayer visible and natural so children “catch” the spiritual life through presence and imitation. The Institute also equips parents to diagnose spiritual dynamics within the family and restore order through grace.By forming parents first, the Institute strengthens families from within, offering clear, practical, and theologically grounded tools that help parents raise children who grow in faith, virtue, and a deep love for God.

Spiritual Parenting is a easy-to-read to book in terms of content and vocabulary. I really enjoyed that the author does not ramble at all, rather he gives precise information, examples and many quotes on the topics, much appreciated! It is a good balance between pointing out parent's common pitfalls and solutions. This all clearly rooted on philosophy, psychology and theology. A must read without a doubt!
