I was rear ended in June 2021
I was rear ended in June 2021. I was referred to Caliber Collision. I took my vehicle in the next day and an estimate was made on the spot. They also wanted me to leave my vehicle at their shop at that time. I declined. About 2 weeks later I was called on Monday afternoon and advised they had the parts necessary to make the repairs. If I had complied with their initial request to leave the vehicle I would have been without it for at least 3 weeks at this point and still counting. I took the vehicle in on Tuesday and accepted the rental car arranged by Allstate insurance. I have to pay for that out of my pocket and submit a request for payment and probably wait at least a month for MY money to be refunded. Bummer. Anyhow, it is now Wednesday of the following week and I have received no correspondence on the status of the repairs although the form I initially received indicated it would take 5 days to complete. When I go to the internet location that allows me to check on the status of the repairs I get the SORRY popup telling me that my repair status does not show up on and they don't know why. I'm then instructed to call the shop. Last night I contacted Collision chat and the person on the chat link could not provide any information either. P**s poor customer support.
